I am Anasullah Fathima Azra, a 27 years old individual, lives in Colombo Sri Lanka.

My professional portfolio is a representation of all that I have learned and accomplished as an individual with the broad knowledge in different areas.

My Strength

My personal power is my strength. I believe, I could able to achieve anything what I wish with a strong willpower and deep tenacity. Fear prevent people from taking actions. But, I strongly believe there are no failures, there are only results or outcomes. We never fail in life, we always succeed. We succeed in getting results of some sort. The key is what we do with those results. We can always improve through learning from your experiences.

It’s not what happens that defines you, it’s what you do with what happens.

Currently, I am employed as a Secondary School Science Teacher English medium. I believe that each child is an individual and as an educator, I will value and develop each child's strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning. And guide them to eliminate their fear of failure. Also to, incluse students in educational sector with able students and facilitate them to reach their full potential.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OVERVIEW

I am a life long learner. Not on the focus to enhance my qualifications. But, to polish my humanity. Our behaviors, our life and the way we interfere with others all manifestate our level of intellections. It’s so embedded in our lives that we rarely consider what it means.

After completion of my school education, I still find ways to gain new skills, knowledge, understanding, and values. So, I continue my learning process. This is something I do for myself, and I try apply that in practical life.

Contributing beyond yourself

Conduct Educational campaigns for O/L & A/L students in urban area schools.
Conducting private classes for Cambridge , Edexcel and CBSE students.
Developing Uplift Science Education YouTube Channel.
Conduct Motivational programs and participating in discourse.

My father is social server. He devotedly involve in social service activities. He is a member of local government authority Sri Lanka since 1999, he use that opportunity as a government servant to contribute poor in many ways. I Have learned many from him. His devoted nature towards society, made him as my inspiration and I started to contribute my self towards enhancement of society in possible ways.

Doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment. Our role as a volunteer give a sense of pride and identity. Also volunteering can provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction.

My role as a teacher, gave me several opportunities to lend a hand towards many students.

When I was an undergraduate student, we were invited and requested to do Educational Campaigns for some schools in Batticaloa region. We have successfully completed more than 15 Seminars for G.C.E Ordinary level students and few more guidance programs. And still I continue to do that.

My main scope is towards weak students at school. I pay more attention as well as after school coaching sessions. Specifically attention, being supportive, encouragements and motivation can be help full to pick up a needy child.

Besides, I spend my leisure time in doing private classes for overseas student. In order established and to understand Edexcel, Cambridge and CBSE syllabuses, I had to expand my teaching towards different curriculums.

My proficiency in Science, should not be compressed.

I tend to have extra Ordinary determination in what I can.

Thus, I try doing new until I find satisfaction.

During the unexpected Corona Pandemic many educational institutes were changed there mode of learning to virtual. Some families were able to manage with digitalization of education. But many were struggling. Understanding that educators hold the key to unlock such chains of poverty, I started to initiate a YouTube Channel with a mission uplift science education also with the concept of Education for all.
